Hi, I'm Mary. I'm 22. Born in Chelyabinsk, living in Pittsburgh, splitting my time in Sydney. Makeup and hockey are my passions. I love the Penguins, but I'm also a fan of the Rangers and Wings. I also enjoy football, obviously the Steelers. I mostly reblog pics, but I post some of my own. I have a pup, a bunny, and two kitties. I like coffee, adventures, cartoons, and the internets.

Mica Beauty Bronze Mineral Eyeshadow Review →

Mica Beauty says their Mineral Eyeshadows offer a “unique formula” that’s “extremely gentle, free of preservatives, chemicals, dyes, talc, oils, and other fillers”. Mica Beauty, formerly Micabella, also promises that their loose mineral shadows will “look ultra smooth and stay put for hours without creasing or pulling the delicate eye area.” Each Mica Beauty Mineral Eyeshadow contains 2.5 grams and retails for $14.95. Minerals by Bee Winter Mineral Eye Sparkle Review →

This is gonna be a fun one. Minerals by Bee is not exactly a brand that I trust. I had some customer service issues right off the bat, and suspicions about the nature of the products once I received, but I decided to try them out and review the samples I received anyway. The product that appealed to me the most was the Mineral Eye Sparkle, which will help you “get to sparkling and shining with MMB’s Eye Sparkle Mineral Shadow. Have fun choosing amongst various colors. Brighten eyes with metallics or soften them with shimmers. All MMB Eye Sparkle Powders are formulated micronized mica (an all natural ingredient) and are long lasting, weightless, non-irritating, and do not contain talc, oil, or fragrance”. I received a sample of this eyeshadow in a free pack of samples, the same sample packet is still available but it now sells for $3. The full size of this eyeshadow retails for $14 and contains 5g. There’s a total of fourteen shades, I have Winter. Click through for my thoughts on the product.

Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Review →

Bare Minerals Mineral Veil is a corn starch and mineral based setting powder. The brand says that this powder will  ”make the most of your makeup” and calls it a “see through but spectacular finale for any kind of complexion. Minimizing lines, absorbing oils, and softening your complexion. It gives you a flawless finish that’s too good to miss. And best of all, it’s utterly weightless. Just a bare veil of minerals that locks makeup in place and give your skin an airbrushed perfection.” Bare Minerals offers a few different formulations of their Mineral Veil, I just have the regular one, no SPF or anything. I have a 2g (.6oz) jar of this setting powder, it was passed on to me by my sister in law, who didn’t like it. A full size jar retails on it’s own for $20, but this product is also available in several value through for the rest of the review.
