Hi, I'm Mary. I'm 22. Born in Chelyabinsk, living in Pittsburgh, splitting my time in Sydney. Makeup and hockey are my passions. I love the Penguins, but I'm also a fan of the Rangers and Wings. I also enjoy football, obviously the Steelers. I mostly reblog pics, but I post some of my own. I have a pup, a bunny, and two kitties. I like coffee, adventures, cartoons, and the internets.

Physicians Formula Classic Nude Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeshadow Palette Review →

Physicians Formula’s Classic Nude Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeshadow Palette is made up of “naked and neutral yet never boring shades” to “create modern nude eyes.” This palette is available in four color schemes, I’m reviewing the Classic option. The nine shades in this palette combine to 7.5g (.26oz) and retails for between $9-12, depending on where you buy it. I picked this palette up at Walmart in a value set that included a trio of matching nail polishes. This, and all Physicians Formula products are dermatologist tested and formulated for sensitive skins. Click through for a full review

Physicians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream Review →

Physicians Formula says their Hydrating Eye Cream is a “nutrient rich eye cream” that “provides intense moisture in a lightweight, refreshing gel-cream formula. Diminishes the appearance of dark circles, fine lines, and puffiness in the eye area”. After finishing my beloved Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream, I was looking for a more affordable option. I came across Physicians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream, which had similar claims and it was on sale! This eye cream contains .5oz (14ml) and regularly sells for $20.Click through for a full review.

Essence French Manicure Pen Review →

Essence is a brand I typically love, but today I’m reviewing one of the worst nail products I’ve come across in my beauty blogging ~career~ - the Essence French Manicure Pen. Essence claims this pen style polish will give a “perfect and fast French manicure and pedicure.” The French Manicure Pen contains 3ml (.1 fl oz) and retails for around $3. Click through for a full review.

Freeman Blue Agave Facial Hydrating Paper Mask Review →

I’ve heard a lot about sheet masks from my favorite Asian beauty gurus like Jennifer Wann and Chicachew, but until recently they were a rarity in America. Recently,Freeman launched three new paper sheet masks. I didn’t know which one to choose, but I ended up with the Blue Agave mask. Freeman says their new mask will “transform skin from dry to dewy! Serum enriched paper facial mask contains soothing blue agave to soften and rehydrate. Ultra hydrating hyaluronic acid and allantoin helps give skin a refreshed look and feel for a smoother finish. Lift the paper and press serum into skin to prep for moisturizer or prime for makeup. Perfect for dry skin.” These paper masks are sold individually with .5 fl oz of serum. I bought my Blue Agave mask at Walmart for around $2.Click through for a full review

L'Oreal She's So Matte Colour Riche Le Matte Review →

L’Oreal recently released a limited edition extension of their Colour Riche lip color line for Fall 2013. This collection is split into two categories, the Le Mattes, and Le Lacques. Four shades comprise each category, a total of eight are available. Today I’m reviewing She’s So Matte from the Le Matte line. Currently there is no official information available on these lip products, it seems as though L’Oreal wasn’t quite ready to release these lipsticks. Each Colour Riche Le Matte contains .9g (.03 oz). I found my Le Matte at Target and paid $8.99. Click through for the full review.

Covergirl Liquiline Blast Eyeliner - Blackfire - Review →

Covergirl’s Liquiline Blast pencils will help you “effortlessly create striking eyeliner looks  with lasting, liquid-like intensity. High pigment formula and smudger work together to give you intense looking eyes that will get you noticed”. This is supposed to be a waterproof  eyeliner. Covergirl offers six shades, today I’m reviewing Blackfire, but I also have and love Green Glow. I was sent this eyeliner by Free Beauty Events in exchange for promoting their monthly giveaways. If you’re interested in grabbing this eyeliner, it’ll run you between $7-8 and can be bought at most drugstores and major retailers. Each Liquiline Blast eyeliner is smaller than your average pencil and contains 950mg (.33oz).Click through for the rest of the post.

Maybelline Coral Crush Baby Lips Lip Balm Review →

By now most of us have tried Maybelline's Baby Lip Lip Balms, but have you tried their new, limited edition shades? Maybelline released a handful of Baby Lips duos back in December, most of them offering a limited edition shade, along with one of the six permanent shades. The limited edition shades must've been in high demand, because they've now been released individually, with an additional two shades! I was torn between Coral Crush and Melon Mania, but choose Coral Crush because I'm a coral lip color junkie (I think I'm gonna go back for Melon Mania though!). Originally I wasn't going to review this product because I was worried I wouldn't get the post up before they were off the shelves, but I've seen them in stores as recently as last week, so here we go. The limited edition Baby Lips have the same great formula I've come to love and rely on. Maybelline says that their Baby Lips balms have an “exclusive skin renewing formula” that provides eight hour of moisture and protection. Maybelline also claims that your lips will be “visibly renewed, virtually reborn” after just one week of use. This lip balm also contains SPF 20. To back up the fairly lofty claims, Maybelline offers a few facts and figures. In their clinical testing, their panelists found: 82% visibly less dry lips, 94% less rough lips, and 77% better looking, more supple lips.Click through to see if the claims are true!

Olay Total Effects Wet Cleansing Cloths Review →

Olay's Total Effects Wet Cleansing Cloths are “dual textured to gently cleanser and exfoliate the skin in one simple step - no lathering and rinsing required! At the same time, they infuse age defying vitamins and moisturizers for fresher, younger looking skin.” Like all Olay Total Effects products, these facial towelettes fight seven signs of aging (lines and wrinkles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, dullness, prominent pores, age spots, and dryness). I don't believe facial wipes can really fight aging. Long time readers of my blog probably know the Olay is my favorite skincare brand, their products are ever present in my skincare routine, and I've never once been disappointed in one of their products. I used their Daily Facial towelettes for years, but I've never tried the Total Effects one, which is pre-moistened (the Daily Facial ones I used were water activated). Each packet of Olay's Total Effects wipes contain 30 wipes and retails for roughly $7. Click through for more.

Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder Review (Fair 10) →

Revlon's newest powder, Nearly Naked, is claimed to give “undetectable coverage, unbelievable complexion” with a texture so “refreshingly light it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look. Pressed powder blends seamlessly with a lightweight feel”. This powder can be used alone or in conjunction with the fabulous Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation. This powder is available in six shades, I have the lightest shade; Fair. I wasn’t very enthused about buying this powder, I have a couple other pressed powders to use, one I haven’t even gotten into yet, but I wanted to review it along with the foundation. I bought my 8g (.28oz) compact at Walmart for $7.49, which is a little more than I’d like to pay for a powder.Click through to read the rest.
