Hi, I'm Mary. I'm 21. Born in Chelyabinsk, living in Pittsburgh, splitting my time in Sydney. Makeup and hockey are my passions. I love the Penguins, but I'm also a fan of the Rangers and Wings. I also enjoy football, obviously the Steelers. I mostly reblog pics, but I post some of my own. I raise mice, but I also has a bunny, two pupz, and a gerbil. I like coffee, adventures, cartoons, and the internets.

Covergirl’s Liquiline Blast pencils will help you “effortlessly create striking eyeliner looks  with lasting, liquid-like intensity. High pigment formula and smudger work together to give you intense looking eyes that will get you noticed”. This is supposed to be a waterproof  eyeliner. Covergirl offers six shades, today I’m reviewing Blackfire, but I also have and love Green Glow. I was sent this eyeliner by Free Beauty Events in exchange for promoting their monthly giveaways. If you’re interested in grabbing this eyeliner, it’ll run you between $7-8 and can be bought at most drugstores and major retailers. Each Liquiline Blast eyeliner is smaller than your average pencil and contains 950mg (.33oz).Click through for the rest of the post.

By now most of us have tried Maybelline’s Baby Lip Lip Balms, but have you tried their new, limited edition shades? Maybelline released a handful of Baby Lips duos back in December, most of them offering a limited edition shade, along with one of the six permanent shades. The limited edition shades must’ve been in high demand, because they’ve now been released individually, with an additional two shades! I was torn between Coral Crush and Melon Mania, but choose Coral Crush because I’m a coral lip color junkie (I think I’m gonna go back for Melon Mania though!). Originally I wasn’t going to review this product because I was worried I wouldn’t get the post up before they were off the shelves, but I’ve seen them in stores as recently as last week, so here we go. The limited edition Baby Lips have the same great formula I’ve come to love and rely on. Maybelline says that their Baby Lips balms have an “exclusive skin renewing formula” that provides eight hour of moisture and protection. Maybelline also claims that your lips will be “visibly renewed, virtually reborn” after just one week of use. This lip balm also contains SPF 20. To back up the fairly lofty claims, Maybelline offers a few facts and figures. In their clinical testing, their panelists found: 82% visibly less dry lips, 94% less rough lips, and 77% better looking, more supple lips.Click through to see if the claims are true!

Olay’s Total Effects Wet Cleansing Cloths are “dual textured to gently cleanser and exfoliate the skin in one simple step - no lathering and rinsing required! At the same time, they infuse age defying vitamins and moisturizers for fresher, younger looking skin.” Like all Olay Total Effects products, these facial towelettes fight seven signs of aging (lines and wrinkles, rough texture, uneven skin tone, dullness, prominent pores, age spots, and dryness). I don’t believe facial wipes can really fight aging. Long time readers of my blog probably know the Olay is my favorite skincare brand, their products are ever present in my skincare routine, and I’ve never once been disappointed in one of their products. I used their Daily Facial towelettes for years, but I’ve never tried the Total Effects one, which is pre-moistened (the Daily Facial ones I used were water activated). Each packet of Olay’s Total Effects wipes contain 30 wipes and retails for roughly $7. Click through for more.

Revlon’s newest powder, Nearly Naked, is claimed to give “undetectable coverage, unbelievable complexion” with a texture so “refreshingly light it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look. Pressed powder blends seamlessly with a lightweight feel”. This powder can be used alone or in conjunction with the fabulous Nearly Naked Liquid Foundation. This powder is available in six shades, I have the lightest shade; Fair. I wasn’t very enthused about buying this powder, I have a couple other pressed powders to use, one I haven’t even gotten into yet, but I wanted to review it along with the foundation. I bought my 8g (.28oz) compact at Walmart for $7.49, which is a little more than I’d like to pay for a powder.Click through to read the rest.

Revlon has a pretty good track record when it comes to foundations, so why is Nearly Naked my first one? I don’t know really! I was on the fence about getting this foundation because I have a handful of half empty foundations and bb creams that I wanted to finish before adding any new ones to my collection, but out of all the recently released foundations, this one appealed to me most, so I grabbed a bottle as soon as I could. Revlon says that this liquid foundation is “so refreshingly light, it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look, so the only one who knows you’re wearing makeup is you!”. Revlon always seems to offer a fairly good shade range; Nearly Naked is available in sixteen shades, I have the shade Vanilla (120), the second lightest, and the lightest I’ve seen for sale in stores. Nearly Naked contains SPF 20.Click through for the rest of the review!

Olay’s Complete All Day Moisturizer is a product that I’m very familiar with, I’ve been using it on and off for about six years. This moisturizer is available in four varieties, I have the one for normal skin. Olay promises that this product will “condition and help prevent premature skin aging, when used as directed, with broad spectrum SPF UVA/UVB sunscreen, antioxidants, and vitamins E, B3, and C. This moisturizer is oil free, dermatologist tested, and non-comedogemic. I’ve been switching between Olay’s Complete and Beauty Fluid moisturizers, depending on what’s cheaper, seasons, etc.

Covergirl’s Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush comes from a collaborative line of products with one of my favorite skincare brands, Olay. This cream blush contains a swirling of Olay’s Regenerist Serum with SPF 22. Covergirl says that their Sculpting Blushes will give “creamy color that defines cheekbones and stays suspended over fine lines and wrinkles for flatteringly flawless coverage. The Olay Regenerist Serum inside is fused with vitamins, skin conditioners, and anti-oxidants that actually help improve skin texture to give you an instantly healthy looking, youthful glow.” Covergirl offers four shades of Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush, I have Plush Peach.

Some initial thought’s on Revlon’s newly released pressed powder.
