Hi, I'm Mary. I'm 22. Born in Chelyabinsk, living in Pittsburgh, splitting my time in Sydney. Makeup and hockey are my passions. I love the Penguins, but I'm also a fan of the Rangers and Wings. I also enjoy football, obviously the Steelers. I mostly reblog pics, but I post some of my own. I have a pup, a bunny, and two kitties. I like coffee, adventures, cartoons, and the internets.

Maybelline Berry Bomb Electro Baby Lips Review →

Maybelline says their Electro Baby Lips will provide “8 hours oh hydration with a neon kick! Electro color pigments in our exclusive lip renew formula.” I’m a long time lover of the regular Baby Lips, but I took my sweet time trying the Electro Baby Lips, as they didn’t really appeal to me that much. I finally picked one up in the shade Berry Bomb during my most recent haul. There are a total of six shades available. Each Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm contains 4.4 grams (.15 oz) and sell for about four bucks a pop.  Click through for a full review.

Maybelline Too Cool Dr. Rescue Baby Lips Medicated Lip Balm Review →

Maybelline expanded on their massively popular Baby Lips lip balms with the Dr. Rescue line. The Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Medicated Lip Balms provide “medicated care+12 hours hydration. Soothes quickly with a hint of eucalyptus. Cools sore lips with a touch of icy menthol.” These lip balms are available in six shades, I’m reviewing Too Cool, which is colorless. Each Baby Lips contains .15 oz (4.4g) and retails for around $4.50. Click through for a full review.

NYX Red Velvet Butter Balm Review →

I love the Butter Glosses NYX put out earlier this year, so I was really excited when I heard about the Butter Balms. NYX says “kiss dry lips goodbye with out rich, buttery lip balm. This scrumptious lip balm melts directly on to the lips leaving a shiny, tinted finish behind, making lips kissably soft. These delicious formulas come in a variety of colors and flavors.” NYX offers eight shades, I have Red Velvet, which I chose at random. Each Butter Balm contains 4g (.14 oz) and sells for around $4. Julep Strawberry Mint Lip Balm Review →

Julep’s new Strawberry Mint Lip Balm contains coconut oil and vitamin E. Julep doesn’t have anything else to say about this product. I received this lip balm in myMarch Julep Maven Box. This balm contains 4.7g (1.7 oz ) and sells for $8, or $6 if you have the Julep Maven discount. Julep products are cruelty free and made in America. Julep products can be bought through the brand’s website, at the four Julep Nail Parlors located in Washington State, and in a limited selection at Sephora. Click through for the full review.

Maybelline Coral Crush Baby Lips Lip Balm Review →

By now most of us have tried Maybelline's Baby Lip Lip Balms, but have you tried their new, limited edition shades? Maybelline released a handful of Baby Lips duos back in December, most of them offering a limited edition shade, along with one of the six permanent shades. The limited edition shades must've been in high demand, because they've now been released individually, with an additional two shades! I was torn between Coral Crush and Melon Mania, but choose Coral Crush because I'm a coral lip color junkie (I think I'm gonna go back for Melon Mania though!). Originally I wasn't going to review this product because I was worried I wouldn't get the post up before they were off the shelves, but I've seen them in stores as recently as last week, so here we go. The limited edition Baby Lips have the same great formula I've come to love and rely on. Maybelline says that their Baby Lips balms have an “exclusive skin renewing formula” that provides eight hour of moisture and protection. Maybelline also claims that your lips will be “visibly renewed, virtually reborn” after just one week of use. This lip balm also contains SPF 20. To back up the fairly lofty claims, Maybelline offers a few facts and figures. In their clinical testing, their panelists found: 82% visibly less dry lips, 94% less rough lips, and 77% better looking, more supple lips.Click through to see if the claims are true!
